How to grow Stevia plant at home?

Below are some of the steps to grow Stevia plants nearby you!

1. Sow three or four stevia seeds in each pot. Press the seeds firmly onto the surface of the peat mixture.
2. Arrange the starter pots near south-facing window or outdoors inside a lightly shaded cold frame.
3. Water the stevia seeds twice daily . Add water until the top 1/2 inch is moderately moist but not sopping wet.
4. Watch for the first signs of germination in 10 to 15 days.
5. Grow the stevia seedlings in a bright, sheltered area for approximately two months before planting them out in the garden.
6. Transplant the stevia plants into a permanent bed once they have an abundance of mature foliage.
7. Choose a sunny or lightly shaded planting site with moist, organically rich soil.
8. Space the plants 1 to 2 feet apart.
